Here’s What Our Clients Say

A TRUE STORY FROM ONE OF OUR AMAZING FAMILIES:

My daughter Daisy - now one - loves to eat. A few months ago, while at lunch with friends and their kids, she was eating cut-up food from our plates but managed to grab a piece of cantaloupe. At first, we thought she was chewing, but then we noticed she had frozen in her high chair.

Realizing something was wrong, my husband and I jumped up immediately. We first put her on his lap and hit her back, but it wasn’t working. She was clearly in distress and getting scared. We stood up and hit her back harder - and thankfully, the piece flew out. It was much larger than we’d realized, and we were shocked she had gotten her hands on it.

In that moment, nothing else mattered - and I’m so grateful we had taken the CPR class with Samantha right before starting solids, when she was about 5 or 6 months old. It kicked in instinctively, and we knew what to do. Daisy was okay, but my husband and I were definitely shaken. Our doctor reassured us there was nothing else to do afterward as long as she returned to her normal bubbly self - which she did.

I’m so thankful for the tools and confidence that helped us that day - and I can’t recommend strongly enough that every parent, no matter their child’s age, takes this class (and even takes it again).”
